Duckday

Attendance

People clock in.
Payroll receives a finished month.

Duckday keeps every timbratura as it happened and rebuilds the cartellino from it, day by day: hours worked against hours due, saldo, straordinario, nights and public holidays. The same hours are checked against the commesse they were meant to land on, and the month you close is the month payroll gets.

Duckday — cartellino

Every hour you send out, you can prove.

The timbrature are kept as they were made and the cartellino is rebuilt from them, so the same day always comes out the same. A correction never overwrites: the wrong punch is voided with a written reason and the replacement takes its place, and both stay on the record. Validate the month and it freezes for everyone, one person at a time or the whole company at once.

The month leaves already split for payroll.

Ordinary, overtime, night, weekend and public holiday hours are worked out from the punches themselves, with the overtime threshold and the night bands of your CCNL. Days nobody clocked are still filled in from the contractual schedule, and a break that was never punched is deducted from it if you set it that way. The Foglio Presenze goes out as one file per person, in XLSX or PDF, already divided into the six pay categories.

What reaches the consulente del lavoro is already divided into the pay categories, computed from the raw punches rather than typed in again.

On site, clocking in takes one tap.

The clock lives on the phone, and it can sit on the home screen like an app, so starting the day means opening nothing else. On the way in, the person says where they are working: at the customer, in the office, or from home. They watch their own month build, and if you allow it they fix their own mistakes instead of queueing at the HR desk.

Hours no commessa explains do not stay hidden.

Every day, the hours clocked are set against the turni reported on commesse and against the leave that has been requested or approved. What is left over is a number rather than a feeling: it sits on the day, in the person's own reminders, and in one weekly notice on Monday morning. Report the missing turno and the flag clears straight away, so the gap is found in the same week instead of at invoicing.

The day's row says how many clocked hours no commessa and no leave request account for.

Questions we actually get asked.

What happens if somebody forgets to clock out?
Duckday does not close it for you. Guessing an exit time would write hours nobody worked into the saldo and the straordinario, so the day stays visibly incomplete until a person fixes it, with a reason on the record. Until that is done the month cannot be validated, and you are told exactly which dates are holding it up.
Can we round clock-ins to the quarter hour?
Yes. You choose the step and whether it rounds up or down. The raw timbratura stays on the record exactly as it was made and only the instant used for the calculation moves, so the time somebody actually clocked is never lost.
Do we have to collect GPS positions?
No. Location, IP address and device clock stay off until you switch them on, and while they are off that data is never kept at all — not stored somewhere out of sight. Switch them on and only the person concerned and whoever administers attendance can see them, with the art. 4 notice and the date of the union agreement recorded next to the setting.

Tell us how you work today.

There is nothing to prepare. Half an hour on how your company runs — who tracks the hours, how an invoice comes together, when you find out whether a commessa made money — and we tell you which modules would fix it and what a quote looks like.
