Every hour and every euro

The work is organised as commesse, and so is the system. Hours, expenses, supplier invoices and issued invoices all attach to the job that generated them — which is why the margin is a figure you read while the job is open.
What changes
- Nothing is billed from memory
- Approved hours become a priced avanzamento against the customer’s listino, and the avanzamento becomes an invoice line. What is still to bill on a job is computed, not remembered.
- The margin arrives before the job closes
- Payroll cost, expenses, supplier invoices and an indirect hourly rate give margin per commessa, per customer and per person, month by month.
- The same hour cannot leave twice
- Every document keeps count of the work it billed and for how much.
- Internal work has its own topology
- Non-billable time has its own topology and its own hour budgets, instead of being logged against an invented customer that quietly ruins every margin report.
