The rota, the clock
and the balances agree.
Care services run around the clock, and the month is decided by whether the rota, the clocked attendance and the leave balances agree. Here they are three views of the same records, and the disagreement is a figure on the day.
What changes
- Nights and holidays are computed
- A shift across midnight is sliced at local midnight per business date, and holiday dominates Saturday and weekday where the calendar says it should.
- Absences are requested and approved in place
- Requests, approvals and balances belong to the same records as attendance, so a month cannot be closed while a day is still unresolved.
- The rota and the absences are one grid
- An approved absence shows on the day, so a shift is not planned over it.
- What reaches payroll is already split
- The month leaves divided into its pay categories, computed from the raw punches rather than typed in again for the consulente del lavoro.
